8th evening by the fireside for architects
We cordially invite interested architects to our discussion round at Frenswegen Monastery on Tuesday, 2 November 2021. Accompanied by wine, delicacies and music, we offer a forum for the exchange of ideas on the subject of architecture.

The topic of the evening is:

What does real sustainability look like?
Emissions from construction and building use are responsible for over 30 percent of CO2 emissions in Germany. Yet after more than three decades of talking about the potential of "green building", we have not really succeeded in fundamentally changing the way we plan and build.  So how may we still build? Is wood, clay or a comparable building material the solution to our resource and CO₂ problem? Is brick green? What solutions are there from the architects' point of view?
