Forward-thinking and traditional approaches for innovative projects

We warmly invite you to a special evening at the restored CAPITOL cinema in Nordhorn.

The location:
CAPITOL Kino
Neuenhauser Str. 13

Look forward to three expert talks that present forward-thinking and traditional approaches to innovative projects. After an introduction by Prof. Christoph Mäckler, the evening will proceed as follows:

David Korte (GMP Projekte, Nordhorn) will briefly present the project "Restoration of the CAPITOL."

Next, Dr. Wilko Potgeter (potgeter + wefelshütten architektur, Nordhorn) will explore the possibilities of implementing aesthetically appealing, energy-optimized social housing using traditional construction techniques.

Michael van Bergen (architectura, Amsterdam) presents the innovative projects Mr. Jones, Omah Nature, and Cornelis, highlighting the role of artisans and manufacturers in bringing his architectural visions to life.

Finally, Jost Westphal (WESTPHAL ARCHITEKTEN BDA, Bremen) will provide insights into the planned renovation of the iconic "Upside-Down Dresser" in Bremen, a project that preserves the old and breathes new life into it.

Moderation: TBA

Between the presentations, we invite you to engage in conversations, enjoy fine wine and food, and conclude the evening together with music.

We look forward to seeing you!
